Mbah Alain Azah is a Software Engineer with expertise in mobile application development, web development, and cloud computing, along with a passion for digital entrepreneurship. A graduate of the prestigious ICT University in Cameroon, Mbah has been instrumental in developing key projects such as the Cameroon HCE Bio Manual Kit, which provides real-time access to biological diagrams and classification tables. He also contributed to Quick-serve, a mobile app that connects users to goods and services, from local professionals to businesses.
Currently serving as the Chief Technical Officer at Nchimsy Teq, Mbah worked with the team on the development of TourCMR, Cameroon’s first bilingual travel guide app, which received endorsement from the Minister of Tourism. This groundbreaking project marks a significant achievement in promoting tourism through technology. Additionally, Mbah has developed websites for businesses like Ahava Healthcare Services, Bright Health Service, and Nayokan Institute, solidifying his expertise in delivering practical digital solutions.
Mbah’s contributions to mobile app development have earned him the African Leadership Initiative Award, recognizing his exceptional work in driving technological innovation, particularly with Quick-serve. He also secured 3rd place at the Hult Prize Campus Edition, a prestigious competition focused on social entrepreneurship. Currently, he is collaborating with Nchimsy Teq on Camer-Inforline, an app aimed at combating misinformation by providing real-time government updates to Cameroonians. Simultaneously, he is involved in an AI health project with the Pan African AI Health Initiative.
As a Next Generation Ambassador for Climate, Mbah is deeply committed to environmental sustainability and global health, advocating for alternative energy sources and eco-friendly practices to benefit future generations. He is currently pursuing certifications in cloud technologies while seeking opportunities to advance his studies through a master’s degree program.
